Now enrolling teens for the Spring session of the NHTC!

Spring 2014
The Spring Session of the Nordic Heritage Teen Council will center on how museums display and communicate social issues.  Teens will look at the topics of social movements as well as social justice while creating an exhibit for the Nordic Heritage Museum. The NHTC Spring Session, will be an exciting place to explore how museums function in a society, learn best practices installing an exhibit, and allow you to work with other teens to produce an exhibit. NHTC includes students of all backgrounds.  Council members will also contribute to this blog and spend a few hours volunteering at the Museum.

Spring Session Meetings will be on Thursdays from April 3rd  through June 5th from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Enrollment is limited to 12 students, and the deadline for applying is March 31st.
Here's why:

Why should I join?
a) You get experience working in a museum
b) You work on projects and come up with ideas for the museum that we can use to plan exhibits and events
c) You can complete 20 hours or more of your Service Learning requirements
d) It's a lot of fun!

Do I have to be Nordic to join?

And here's how!
